CRIPPLED YOUTH is one of my favorite straight edge bands. redonkulous preachy lyrics being screamed by 14 year old kids who are young and PISSED! these guys changed their name to BOLD when they grew up a little and changed their sound as well. this stuff is ripping proto-youth crew. very simple with some really silly lyrics. this band rules.

1. Just How Much?
2. True Till Death
3. There Is a Difference
Side B
4. Never Understand
5. Let Down
6. Best of Times
Chain of Strength - "True Till Death" EP
This is probably my favorite youth crew 7" ever... Great powerful and emotional straight edge hardcore. This record is also great for drunken singalongs about making the right choices in life! This is Chain of Strength's first record release, and it's super raw sounding, which is one of the reasons I really like it.
Appendix EP
Side A
1. Huora
2. Eliittipiiri
Side B
3. Painajainen
4. Tää On Mun Oma Sota
Appendix EP
First EP by Appendix. Some refer to this as the "Huora" EP. Very powerful and thick ripping Finnish hardcore. This band influenced a lot of bands in Scandinavia and all across the world. I used to be obsessed with Scandinavian hardcore when I was younger and this is just as great today! It has that very distinct Finnish hardcore sound.

New York band playing ripping fast aggressive hardcore. Completely overlooked and underappreciated, probably because they were very different than most NYHC. I'd almost call it a more foreign hardcore sound. Recorded in 1984.

S.A.S. released only a demo and this EP. 300 copies of this EP exist, so if you have the original you are a rich man or woman. go listen now.
